Originated inside Onyx Point, Sicura is a security and compliance platform that enforces and remediates technical security controls, bridges the gap between security and engineering teams, and puts a stop to manual fixes of misconfigurations.
While working with an intelligence customer on a research project focused on automating compliance, a team led by Onyx Point worked with the customer to open source the software through its Technology Transfer Program. That technology is now the core of the Sicura product.
In September of 2021, Onyx Point spun out Sicura in order to focus on development and expansion efforts and grow the products’ footprint in both federal and commercial spaces.
